STATE GOVERNORS’ ACHIEVEMENTS: Sokoto State as a Case Study coming soon as The DEFENDER Performance Monitoring Special debutes
On the sideline of its visit to Sokoto State during the just concluded 15th coronation anniversary of Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar as the 20th Sultan of Sokoto, The DEFENDER had opportunity of going round the state from Kasarawa, where a state of the art international conference centre is situated, to other parts including the Sokoto State University area, where an ongoing teaching hospital that is about to come alive having reached more than 50 percent completion among other huge projects were not only being told but seen. A very comprehensive diagnostic centre now undergoing finishing touching that, when combined with the teaching hospital, will make Sokoto State the medical tourism destination of choice – not only for the other states of Nigeria but countries across West Africa – was also seen, inspected, and confirmed as a non-paper but practical achievement of the Tambuwal administration.
Stay tune to The DEFENDER as it brings these performances – some of which are completed and others ongoing and aimed to be completed soon – by a governor, whose huge achievements have been under-reported, to the knowledge of all.
