APC Governors pass vote of confidence on Gov Buni-led party leadership

APC Governors under the aegis of the Progressives Governors’ Forum, PGF, have passed a vote of confidence on the Governor Buni-led caretaker committee for what its called an outstanding performance in rebuilding the party.

The governors took the decision at a meeting in Abuja, presided over by its Chairman, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State.

They commended Governor Buni for providing excellent leadership.

According to a statement, the committee members have succeeded in attaracting serving and former Governors, Senators, House of Representatives members as well as other notable opposition figures to the party.

The statement also appreciated efforts in stabilizing the APC and midwifing a successful membership drive.
