“It is against this backdrop that the Coalition of PDP Social Media Users deemed it necessary to address you this afternoon on the matter.

“First of all, every good citizen of Zamfara state and beyond knows the efforts of the Zanfara state government under the able leadership of His Excellency, Governor Bello Muhammed Matawallen Maradun in the safe rescue of the students and handing them over to their respective families unharmed.

“When the speaker and his entourage who accompanied the school girls arrived Jangebe, intelligent reports indicated that there were strangers of suspicious character full of the town planning evils against the speaker and his entourage.

“There was an attempt to assassinate the speaker by the hoodlums, stationed in almost all the nooks and crannies of Jangebe, waiting to carry out their dastardly act of the assassination.

“It is this attempted murder of the Hon Speaker that led to the smashing of his official and staff cars, with many of the members of his entourage narrowly escaped.
As a result, security agencies including soldiers who were stationed on alert to guard and ensure the security of lives and property of the inhabitants of the town were attacked by the hoodlums.

“It is in the public domain that, since then, the security agencies have searching for the perpetrators of the abduction, the assassination attempt and the organisers of the protest, including their paymasters.

“By this also, he has now exposed who his paymasters are, an together they masterminded the abduction itself and the attempted murder of the Speaker. We are therefore calling on the security agencies in the state to immediately arrest Bello Soja and his paymasters to answer questions in respect of the abduction of Jagebe school girls, the attempted murder of the Speaker Rt Hon Nasiru Muazu Magarya and the protest against the speaker’s entourage in Jangebe,” it said.
