Boko Haram: Bama witnesses first peaceful Juma’at Service in 8 years
The Banki town’s largest mosque in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State, on Friday, had its first peaceful Juma’at Service after eight years Boko Haram activities had made doing so impossible.
Maryam Shetty, an Islamic faithful excited by the development, made this known in a post via her verified Facebook social media handle on Sunday.
Shetty screamed, “Allahu Akbar! God is truly Great!
“For the first time Jumuat Prayers were peacefully offered after eight terrifying years of BH attacks in Banki Town’s largest mosque, Bama LG, Borno State. The war is being won. #webelieve!🇳🇬” She said.
With the return of religious activities to the Bama community now free of interruption by terrorists, the war against insurgency in the North East is further getting into extinction, The DEFENDER reports.
