President Buhari condoles Gen Buba Marwa on death of brother, Idris
President Muhammadu Buhari sent his condolences to former Military Governor of Lagos and Borno states, Brigadier General Mohammed Buba Marwa (Rtd), on the death of his younger brother, Alhaji Idris Marwa.
Idris, a successful businessman in Kaduna, died after an illness on Tuesday October 27, 2020 at the age of 57.
In a statement issued by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina sent to The DEFENDER, President Buhari prayed God’s comfort and succour for General Marwa, an All Progressives Congress stalwart.
Condoling with the Marwa family, President Buhari urged them to take solace in the fact that all mortals are destined to ultimately return to their maker, adding: “What would then matter is how well we have carried out our stewardship on earth, and I believe Idris Marwa played his role well.”
The President asks God to care for the family left by the deceased, and that they will receive the fortitude to bear the loss.
