By BASHIR ADEFAKA

The Nigerian Army has had the cause to celebrate the nation, Nigeria, whose over 20 Local Government Areas it recaptured from the grip of Boko Haram terrorists as Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai assumed office as Chief of Army Staff, following his appointment by then brand new President Muhammadu Buhari, five years ago.

The Army, which has successfully pushed the terrorists and their remnants to the border area around Chad Basin thereby easing security situation in the North East, may be very happy that it not only restored peace, largely to Nigeria compared what it used to be, but also that it, along with other sister security agencies, is alive to see Nigeria still waxing stronger and together at 60.
