The Emir of Zaria and Chairman of Zazzau Emirate Council, Alhaji Shehu Idris, is dead.
He died Sunday at the age of 84.
The DEFENDER gathered that Emir Shehu died at 44 Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna.
“It is true the Emir is dead. We are waiting for his corpse to be brought for burial,” palace source reportedly said.
