Exposed! The Opposition’s onslaughts that caused inconclusive elections in Kano, Bauchi, Plateau, others!
*Kano issues not Ganduje, part of PDP’s Dubai resolutions to demolish Buhari/APC’s Next Level – Investigation
By KEMI KASUMU, General Editor
“Particularly, Kano must be taken from the onslaughts of the opposition because, it will be disastrous for Buhari’s Next Level and future of APC in 2023 if Kano that is the political headquarters of Nigeria is allowed to be taken over by them,” he warned.
Facts are beginning to emerge revealing the real reasons Saturday 9 March 2019 governorship elections in some strategic states of six Nigeria’s geopolitical zones went down inconclusively.
“It is simply the same reason that we all know but I hope once again, we have learned our lessons”, a source who insisted on anonymity told The DEFENDER in Abuja on Tuesday.
According to the source, Kano, Sokoto, Bauchi, Plateau, Benue and Adamawa states’ elections are inconclusive, though correctly, because the opposition had made it as part of their Dubai resolutions to launch attacks huge enough to puncture the Buhari and All Progressives Congress (APC)’s popularity in each of the geopolitical zones.
The ability, however, of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to discover the undemocratic attacks which are mainly the dollarised and violence methods, he disclosed, saved the APC so far.
He dismissed the claim that Kano voted massively against APC because of alleged corruption video against its candidate, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, saying it is not true as there is no evidence of corruption against Ganduje.
He repeatedly said except the faking news that desperate politicians used “supposedly trusted media to carry around against perceived enemy”, no one can come public till today to say Ganduje actually took the inexistent bribe.
He revealed the fact that Jaafar Jaafar, Editor of the Daily Nigerian online newspaper peddling the bribe rumour, is a known member of the Musa Kwankwaso political family which Ganduje also belonged to until political differences did them apart, adding that Jaafar needed to come forward and tell the world how a sitting Governor with access to all things including money would stool low to taking bribe and it would be videoed at close range and as clear as that and there was not even a slight show of resentment.
Jaafar and his cohorts were, according to him, asked to accept their failed corruption scam against Ganduje as he said nobody would accept allegation of bribery that shows the taker but protects the giver.
Moving forward, he assured that the main issue in Kano is just the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s resumed desperation in the aftermath of collateral damages they suffered during the presidential election.
The source however expressed an apprehension, saying the only thing that bothered him was that APC decided to engage itself in avoidable intraparty crisis whereas it should leverage on the key members it is blessed to have in the zones to face the major challenges coming from the opposition.
The source said it was those issues within the ruling party that opposition, who had already failed in their Dubai strategy resolutions, quickly exploited to launch the last offensive which was not part of their Dubai plan.
“That is why you see APC struggling to win both at Presidential and Governorship elections across the country. The saving grace is that President Buhari is not like PDP’s Obasanjo and Jonathan during whose regimes election results were awarded not by choice of the people who voted. And I can prove it to you although I won’t mention names asides the big names among them,” he said.
He then spoke: “All they used to do was go to each polling unit and I particularly witnessed this in Kogi State because, before I joined my current job (details unnecessary), I was PDP agent and our work was to help rig election.
“I was in Kogi and my village is near Ankpa in the Igala area, and we would just drive down to the polling unit, talk to each of the other party agent and ask how much his party paid him. Whatever amount he mentioned we tripped and they at once agree to come into an area away from the unit to collect the money. We surely gave them the money but we took them far away to enable us carry out our own duty of replacing all the ballots boxes there with the ones in our cars. No INEC ad-hoc staff can deny this.
“So the saving grace now for APC is that Buhari is not like those PDP Presidents who rigged and still went ahead to compromise the courts to deny opposition justice. That is why Nigerians, even members of my former party, PDP, (source now in job which restricts him from partisan politics) should appreciate that for the first time they are having an election where opposition is allowed to have his true election results reflected. Where did you ever ACN, CPC, or ANPP scoring near ruling party during PDP?
“Remember how Obasanjo scored 24 million votes while Falae and Buhari were reported to have scored 6 million, 7 million respectively? But since card reader started not by the will of PDP but Jega in 2015, you now have the winner not being too far, even to the extent that politicians sent out of power because of their corruption are getting 11.2 million in 2019 trying to be at shoulder level with the incumbent.
“For them to now be crying against the President over rigging that does not exist, it means Nigerians, who truly and genuinely believe and agree on moving Nigeria forward away from their corruption past, requires to reexamine themselves. But is it their fault? I blame the APC. Corrupt politicians in opposition are rigging elections under your authority, instead for you to unit and gave them, you are busy fighting and pushing your strong forces into what you call anti-party and you don’t even choose what time you should deal with their anti-party brouhaha but a dire period like this?”
“You blame Okorocha for wanting to install his son-in-law but we have not heard any American raise eyebrow against Donald Trump nominating and Congress confirming his son-in-law as Chief of Staff in America. This is country from where we borrowed democracy. But now, Okorocha’s that is APC stronghold in the South East geopolitical zone has fallen to the Dubai strategy of opposition that you want to help Nigerians push away. You went and fix a Good Uzodinma who joined Saraki in making your 2015-2019 miserable as APC Governorship Candidate and he didnt come second but third after the son-in-law of Okorocha that you rejected.
“Now, between the son-in-law of APC Okorocha and PDP Ihedioha, which one should have been better a lesser evil for an APC Family of the Federal Republic of Nigeria?
“Yes, Oshiomhole and Tinubu, who are the two major issues Okorocha is attacking as cause of the APC crisis, are no doubt master strategists. But whereas Tinubu has his eyes fully set on 2023 ambition even amidst inconclusive 2019, Oshiomhole’s too much of unionism exuberance has been taken too far in the name of ensuring party discipline. How much of indiscipline could an Okorocha have been that a PDP Ihedioha is now in charge of your stronghold? But that is what over ambition has earned the leadership of APC currently,” he said.
The source also went on to the South West where the stronghold of APC, Oyo, has been tampered with, as PDP Seyi Makinde also took charge.
“It is hoped that Makinde will not be as mad politically as Ayo Fayose, if he does, APC should expect a serious challenge to its Federal Government from South West through Agodi Government House.
“They are already blaming Ajimobi but it is not true. Yes, Ajimobi has issues but if the APC leadership had not done their abracadabra against the Minister of Communications, Dr. Abdulraheem Adebayo Shittu, although many claim Shittu is stingy, APC would not lose Oyo. It was as a result of Ajimobi’s overdoing being consistently supported by APC leadership at National Secretariat that Shittu was screened out after he had been screened and cleared by same National Secretariat as governorship aspirant.
“What made Oshiomhole behave too forwardly over a non issue of NYSC against Shittu – whereas he also knew Ajimobi did not serve NYSC different from Shittu ‘s that has court judgement backing it – but allowed Ajimobi to remain in the race for Oyo Central Senatorial seat? As a result of this APC NWC misdoing, the four years old party in power not only lost Presidency to opposition in Oyo but, more devastatingly, it lost the local control that is owned by Governor and also lost the all-important Senatorial seat of Oyo Central Headquartered in Ibadan to PDP.
“The PDP had prayed APC successfully screen Shittu out and that led to APC’s strong persons exiting to PDP, Accord, ADC, ADP. We have now got the results., Unfortunately some APC supporters or are they not even supporters? They are still praising Oshiomhole and Tinubu for giving patty discipline to APC. Who among politicians of APC, forget the known indiscipline PDP, is disciplined. I see only President Buhari, nobody else.
“Any need to do party discipline would not be decided in parlour place of one leader. No. If Tinubu is disciplined, would he have sponsored AD against the same APC he is called its national leader in Ondo State and, still disguising like we didn’t know, used media to run fake news against the APC candidate in favour of AD?
“Yes, indiscipline towards party brought Saraki but Shittu and Okorocha are not Saraki. The man who worked with that same Saraki you went and fielded as your governorship candidate to rescue Imo from Okorocha. And you think God is Lord of injustice and inequity?”He spoke angrily.
Still in South West he talked about Ogun where APC has made Amosun an outcast.
“Take it or leave it, Amosun remains a strong force in Ogun State politics. Did I hear you say he lost with his APM candidate? Do you call that one loss? Have you seen the number of votes he was able to secure for Akinlade with a party unknown from Adam? I just hope that APC’s Tinubu and Oshiomhole will have to accept the need to discipline themselves by simply coming back to roundtable with these figures they are losing: Amosun, Shittu and Okorocha, others and then move straight together to the North including Governor Nasir el-Rufai and trash the opposition out against their mounted onslaughts going on there in Kano, Sokoto, Bauchi, Benue, Plateau and Adamawa states.
“Particularly, Kano must be taken from the onslaughts of the opposition because, it will be disastrous for Buhari’s Next Level and future of APC in 2023 if Kano that is the political headquarters of Nigeria is allowed to be taken over by them,” he warned.
