BOSS urges the Igbo to support Buhari

A political pressure group, Buhari-Osinbajo 2nd-Term Support (BOSS), has the Igbo people to galvanize their support for the actualization of the Buhari and Osinbajo second term bid on the basis of patriotism and hope to succeed them in 2023.

Founder of the group, Mazi Muhammad Ajah, in a statement in Abuja, enlisted the Igbo not to be deceived by politicians who are planning that the Igbo lose the mass support they will deserve from Nigerians, especially from the Presidency in 2023. He warned that the long awaited opportunity for the Igbo to produce a President of Nigeria will not be actualized if the Igbo decide not to vote for President Buhari in the forthcoming election early 2019.

Mazi Ajah observed that it will be foolhardy for Buhari to entrust Nigeria’s leadership to a people who did not vote him but rather abhor him with passion. He described President as a trustworthy patriot who has shown enough commitment to the nation’s development as well as the love for the Igbo nation. He appealed to the Igbo to correspond Buhari’s love for them by ensuring that the Southeast gives him bulk or considerable votes in the February 2019 presidential poll.

“President Buhari deserves the support of the Igbo nation because no president since 1999 has developed the zone as he is doing. I am confident that he will not disappoint them in 2023 if they vote for him. He is the only national leader who cannot twist his promise, even in difficult times.”

“President Buhari has promised that Igboland will never be the same again by the end of his second term in office. He has indicated readiness to facilitate emergence of an Igbo president in 2023. But that can only be possible if the Igbo are with him or the winning party. The same people who are instigating the Igbo against Buhari will struggle to take the position in 2023. The Igbo must, therefore, wake up and play mature politics by accepting the reality on ground”.

BOSS was formed in September 2017 to mobilize Nigerians for the actualization of the second term bid of President Muhammadu Buhari. The group has scheduled rallies in the zones as well as the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja in the next few weeks.
