Osinbajo, 9 govs in panel to end herders, farmers clashes
The National Economic Council has constituted a 10-man working committee to address killings by herdsmen.
The committee is headed by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje told State House correspondents after the council meeting yesterday.
The committee also comprised the governors of Kaduna, Zamfara, Taraba, Benue, Adamawa, Edo, Plateau, Oyo and Ebonyi States as members.
Ganduje stated that the committee would collaborate with the Federal Government in addressing impunity regarding killings and violence.
According to him, the committee would work to ensure that all perpetrators of violence were brought to book.
