Before leaving for France, President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday visited his farm in Daura, Katsina State where he inspected his cattle and fruits, with a message that every Nigerian must key into the agriculture revolution of his administration by emulating him.
The President, right from his days as Military Governor of North Eastern State, Federal Commissioner for Petroleum and National Resources to the era of his adventure as Nigeria’s Military Head of State, has never left anybody in doubt of his commitment to leading by example.
He believes in the ability of agriculture to be a catalyst to achieving Nigeria’s quest for realistic economic development and self-national self-reliance and he has taken the bull by the horns showing from his own angle in Daura how it can be done.
He then encourages the over 180 million people that he leads as elected President to emulate him so that the era of hunger will become, permanently, a history in the land.
In the meantime, President Muhammadu Buhari, as earlier announced by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, later on Sunday left for Paris, France for the summit already explained.
