Buhari takes along with him Bola Tinubu, PDP, APC governors to attend EU/AU Summit in Abidjan
In what many have described as fantastic move he is making lately in dowsing the tension resulting from perceived isolation of some leaders of All Progressives Congress (APC) in his official activities, President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, left Nigeria for the European Union-African Union (EU-AU) Summit in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, with a national leader of the governing party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Former vice president Atiku Abubakar who resigned from the party last week had accused the president of not consulting with party leaders before taking major policy decisions as one of the reasons for his resignation.
Others on the entourage of Mr. President to the summit are Governor of Bauchi State, Alhaji Abdullahi Abubakar, and Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel.
