Still on Buhari’s South East Visit: Now I have what it takes to advise the Igbo nation on politics, by Great ImoJonathan

Now this is my honest advice and prediction:

Description of image

President Buhari is recontesting in 2019 and it is important that he does. And before then Igbos should join and support APC massively.

Now this is my point:

If Buhari does not get APC ticket in 2019, another Northerner will. Already PDP has zoned it’s presidential ticket to the north.

Imagine that scenario: two Northern candidates, both coming for their first tenure means that anyone of them that wins will have 8 years of constitutionally guaranteed term.

If Buhari is not allowed to complete his tenure it will be politically correct for the North to seek the office, at least to measure up a little with the south since the return of democracy in 1999.

The implication is that Buhari not getting it will mean that south east will wait for another 10 years from now. And even after 10 years, there will be no guarantee. Because the south west would have waited a bit too long since after obj. And south south as well.

The story from other Southern brothers would be that the east did not play her politics well.

And mind you, when that time comes the west will most likely get the support of the North because they supported their own; Buhari.

Like great Zik of Africa said: unu hapu ihe dere na motor baa na motor.

Obasanjo a Yoruba man was a president under PDP and Igbo man was party chairman but our politicians who were beneficiaries did not tell us it was a Yoruba party. Then came an Hausa man; Yar’Adua. The benefiting politicians did not tell us it was Hausa party. Even when goodluk Jonathan came they did not tell us it was mba nmiri. Because they were getting something for themselves, it was never about the ordinary igbo man.

Now in APC, the governing party, there are Yorubas, south Southerners, Hausas and Igbos. Why are those who spent 16 years with people from all these political bases in PDP Now telling you that Igbo politicians in APC are efulefu?

Does it mean that Igbos IN other political parties are less Igbo? Is it because they lost out in 2015 that all of a sudden Hausa and Yorubas hate Igbo?

But the real concern here is that 16 years of PDP was the worst period in Igbo land. No second Niger Bridge, no roads, no security, no industries and no federal presence.

But even with all the criticisms against Buhari, he is building second Niger bridge, east west road, coastal rail projects, Enugu onithsa road, Enugu port harcourt road, port harcourt Aba road, ikotepkeni Umuahia road, ala oji power is back to Geometric Power owned by Igbo man taken away by goodluk Jonathan’s government, ebonyi and Anambra are now the power houses of rice production through the central bank anchor borrower fund.

Yet all these are just foundation laying projects. By the time buhari spends 4 years a lot of things would have taken shape.

And for your information, APC will rule Nigeria for minimum of 16 years unbroken. But mind you the Igbo term of 8 years is within that APC 16 years. And the shortest way to it is to align massively with APC and buhari in the coming election. PDP, APC are neither Igbo, they are simply political vehicles. Like any Danfo on the street you can join anyone of your choice to get to your destination.

Remember, hapu ihe edere na motor baa na motor.

And for those of you Igbos who want to lead Nigeria, you must be ready to accept the truth that only an Igbo man who is respected and loved by all Nigerians can be given such an opportunity to be the president of the country. And that doesn’t mean you should hate your people in order to be accepted by other Nigerians. Simply by using the opportunity given to you by Igbo people to serve them well other Nigerians will love and respect you. And by Not using Igbo people as a tool to fight other ethnic nationalities because of what you want to get, other Nigerians will admire you.

There are sincerely no political ideologies IN Nigeria. You need to play politics with straight head and not emotion. Ask yourself how do I go about the good that I want to do for my people as a politician and get positive results?

APC and buhari are the surest path to Igbo man becoming president soon. We have to negotiate with buhari now. We need to get his commitment and we need to all join APC now with voting for APC in our States.

There are quality Igbo sons and daughters who can lead Nigeria to greatness. Let’s get ready to make our positive impact in one Nigeria come 2023, working with buhari.

Remember in 2013, I told you Goodluk Jonathan would not retain power in 2015.

Please don’t say I didn’t tell you about 2019 and beyond.

I STILL DO NOT KNOW WHY SOME PEOPLE HAVE FAITH IN IPOB! SAD.”
