Nigeria Customs Service releases final list of successful ASC II recruitment candidates

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced the release of the final list of successful candidates selected in the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise for appointment into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II).
The Service, in a statement issued on Monday, July 27, 2026, advised candidates who participated in the recruitment exercise to visit its official website or check selected national newspapers to confirm their names and obtain details about the next stage of the recruitment process.
According to the statement signed by the NCS National Public Relations Officer, Deputy Comptroller of Customs Abdullahi Maiwada, successful candidates will also receive further instructions through their registered email addresses and/or SMS notifications.
The candidates, upon receiving the notification, are required to log on to the designated recruitment portal using their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address to upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness obtained from a government-recognised hospital.
The Customs Service said the portal for uploading the Medical Certificates of Fitness would be activated on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, adding that candidates would have one week from the date of activation to complete the process.
Successful candidates are also required to update their current state of residence on the portal and formally accept their provisional offers of appointment by clicking the “Accept Offer” button.
The Service said candidates who complete the process should thereafter await the issuance of their Trainee Identification Numbers, which are expected to be communicated within one week.
It added that further information on documentation and physical screening, including dates, venues and requirements, would be communicated through official channels.
The NCS urged all successful candidates to strictly adhere to the instructions and complete every stage of the recruitment process within the stipulated timelines.
It warned that failure to meet any of the requirements or deadlines could lead to disqualification from the recruitment exercise and forfeiture of the provisional offer of appointment.
On behalf of the Nigeria Customs Service Board, the Comptroller-General of Customs congratulated all successful candidates and expressed the Service’s readiness to welcome them into the NCS as they begin careers dedicated to professionalism, integrity and service to the nation.

NIGERIA CUSTOMS SERVICE ANNOUNCES FINAL RECRUITMENT LIST FOR ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT OF CUSTOMS II ( ASC II)
1. The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) is pleased to announce the release of the final list of successful candidates in the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise for appointment into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II). Consequently, candidates are advised to visit the official NCS website, (http://www.customs.gov.ng), and/or check selected national newspapers to confirm their status and obtain information regarding the next stage of the recruitment process.
2. Furthermore, successful candidates will receive instructions through their registered email addresses and/or SMS notifications. Upon receipt of the notification, candidates are required to log on to update.customs.gov.ng using their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address to upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness obtained from a government-recognised hospital.
3. The Service wishes to inform all successful candidates that the portal link for the upload of Medical Certificates of Fitness, as referenced above, will be activated on Wednesday, 29 July 2026. Candidates are required to complete the upload process within one (1) week from the date of activation of the portal.

5. All successful candidates are advised to strictly comply with the outlined instructions and complete each stage within the stipulated timelines. Failure to comply with any of the requirements or timelines may result in disqualification from the recruitment process and forfeiture of the provisional offer of appointment.
