Tinubu wins APC presidential direct primary election in Zamfara

Tinubu scored 321,631 votes while his rival Stanley Osifor scored 42 – Chief Returning Officer
President Bola Ahmad Tinubu has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election in Zamfara State.
Announcing the results, at the collation centre in Gusau in Saturday May 23, 2026, the chief returning officer of the election and Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, said Tinubu scored 321,631 votes while his rival Stanley Osifor scored 42.
He said APC had 365,796 registered members in the state with 322,435 accredited out of which President Tinubu scored 321,631 to emerge as winner.
Governor Lawal thanked the APC members and supporters for the orderly manner of the election.
