Iran views US, Israel as equally criminal; war to continue until enemies regret aggression – Speaker

“Regarding the major crime they have committed, Iran no longer makes ‘any distinction’ between the United States and the Zionist regime,” he added.

Iran’s Majlis (Parliament) speaker says, in the eyes of the Islamic Republic, the United States and the Israeli regime are no longer different from one another as far as the gravity of their crimes versus the Iranian nation is concerned.

Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf made the remarks in a post on X on Saturday, saying, “[US President Donald] Trump was duped by [Israeli prime minister Benjamin] Netanyahu into starting the war and is now acting under his control.”

“Regarding the major crime they have committed, Iran no longer makes ‘any distinction’ between the United States and the Zionist regime,” he added.

“The war will continue until the enemy’s calculus is altered and they are driven to regret.”

The remarks came amid successful and decisive waves of unrelenting retaliatory strikes by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) against hostile American and Israeli targets throughout the region.

The reprisal, codenamed Operation True Promise 4, began momentarily after the allies launched their latest bout of unprovoked aggression towards the Islamic Republic late last month.

So far, the Corps has fired hundreds of ballistic and hypersonic missiles as well as attack drones towards sensitive and strategic enemy targets.

Most recently, it conducted the 47th wave of the operation.

Inside the occupied territories, the IRGC struck the Negev Desert, including Nevatim, which hosts one of the Israeli regime’s largest airbases, the occupied city of Be’er Sheva that serves as the regime’s technological epicenter, and the occupied city of Lod.

The Corps also hit al-Udaid, the United States’ most important airbase in the West Asia region that is located in Qatar.

Additionally, the IRGC targeted the hiding places of the anti-Iran Komala terrorist group.

The Corps has vowed to sustain the retaliation until the enemies’ “complete defeat.”
