Federal lawmaker distributes 56,000 bags of grains as Ramadan palliatives in Zamfara

Jaji urged those entrusted with overseeing the distribution process to ensure that the items reach the intended beneficiaries and to carry out their responsibilities with sincerity and the fear of Allah.

A member of the House of Representatives, , representing Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency, has distributed over 56,000 bags of assorted grains to residents of as part of Ramadan palliative measures.

Speaking during the distribution exercise, Jaji said the initiative was aimed at supporting people across the state regardless of political affiliation, gender, or social status. He noted that the beneficiaries include vulnerable persons, women, politicians, Islamic scholars (ulama), internally displaced persons (IDPs), youths, and members of various political associations.

The lawmaker also disclosed that more than 100 daily feeding centres have been established across the state to provide meals to the needy throughout the month of Ramadan, ensuring easier access to food for those observing the fast.

Jaji urged those entrusted with overseeing the distribution process to ensure that the items reach the intended beneficiaries and to carry out their responsibilities with sincerity and the fear of Allah.

He reaffirmed his commitment to advocating policies at the National Assembly aimed at alleviating the hardship faced by ordinary Nigerians through effective representation.

The lawmaker further called on supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to continue backing the policies and programmes of President , expressing confidence in the President’s determination to tackle insecurity in Zamfara State and Nigeria at large.
