No Rivers State Governor has achieved more than Amaechi, Lauretta Onochie replies Wike

Achievements of Amaechi as governor
1) Free Education
2) Reconstruction of collapsed Olusegun Obasanjo Flyover at Airforce Junction.
3) Free Health facilities for children and the
aged.
4) Improvement of security in the state through the implementation of a Closed Circuit Television(CCTV Project) with Standard and modern security check points at Eleme, Aluu, Aba, rukpokwu, Airport road etc.
African Democratic Congress (ADC) woman frontliner, Lauretta Onochie, has replied the immediate past Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, over his recent questioning to know what his former boss and Governor of the state, RT. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, achieved as governor.
Onochie, who is also aid to the president during the civilian administration of late Major General Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd), also served by Amaechi as Minister if Transportation, simply referred Wike to what she believes to be an apt response by Thank you. But its not me. Its a lady called Jennifer Aaron to the Wike’s questioning of the truth about he knows about Amaechi but he tries to dodge.
According to Onochie, in a post via her X handle on Saturday January 10, 2026, “On January 7th, 2026, former Governor of Rivers State, @GovWike, raised a question regarding what @ChibuikeAmaechi accomplished for the people of Rivers State. In response, a proud daughter of Rivers State, Jennifer Aaron , took the time to highlight just 50 significant capital projects executed by Amaechi during his tenure as governor.
“As we address Papa Jordan’s inquiry about Amaechi’s contributions, let’s also remind ourselves of the impressive legacy that should not be forgotten.”
In the reference, Amaechi’s achievements that Wike failed to see were listed with a round up ending as follows:

Aaron, according to the statement, concluded saying, “I no get strength to argue. No Governor for Rivers State don beat Amaechi record, Not one!
