The installation ceremony drew many of her former classmates, who turned out in honour of their colleague. Led by the chairman of the set, Sheikh AbdulHakeem Yayi Akorede, the Grand Chief Imam of Akure Kingdom, the group celebrated “Folasegbe” and extended warm congratulations to her.

Olori Abimbola Fola Adeleye, wife of the Alaaye of Aaye Kingdom in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State, has been formally installed as the Eye’Sorun of Aaye Kingdom.

A proud alumna of Akure Muslim College, Akure, Class of 1991, Olori Adeleye was known in her school days as Folasegbe Ojo. Her name and status changed following her marriage, after which she and her husband relocated from Lagos to take up their roles within the royal family of the Akure-speaking community in Ondo State.

The installation ceremony drew many of her former classmates, who turned out in honour of their colleague. Led by the chairman of the set, Sheikh AbdulHakeem Yayi Akorede, the Grand Chief Imam of Akure Kingdom, the group celebrated “Folasegbe” and extended warm congratulations to her.

They wished her a successful and impactful tenure in her new role as the Eye’Sorun of Aaye Kingdom.
