POLL: Zamfara APC endorses President Tinubu as sole candidate for 2027

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Zamfara State Chapter, has endorsed the candidature of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was made during a meeting of stakeholders of APC at the residence of Senator AbdulAziz Abubakar Yari at Talata Mafara in Talata Mafara Local Government in the state.
A motion for the endorsement was moved by Senator Sahabi Yau Kaura, seconded by a member representing Maru/Bungudu at the House of Representatives in Abuja, Hon.Abdulmalik Zubairu Bungudu.
The meeting was well attended by all APC leaders from across ward, local government and state levels.
Others in attendance were all Senators, House of representatives members, House of Assembly both serving and former, ex-governors and their deputies, former commissioners, special advisers, directors-general.and several other stakeholders of APC in the state.
Speaking during the occasion, Senator Yari said, “The main purpose of the meeting is to reaffirm unity of the party at all levels and call on APC supporters to remain steadfast and united in repositioning of the party.”
Yari said, “With this development, it means that the party would only support President Tinubu in 2027 general elections and ensure that the recapturing power in the state in the state.”
He further said the party is fully united more than ever before, even as several top APC stakeholders also spoke during the meeting in favour of the unity of the party in the state.
