Organisers confirm Arowona, Royal News Publisher, as Nigerian delegate to Algeria’s IATF2025

With Africa aiming to reduce dependency on external markets, the IATF2025 is seen as a major platform for showcasing homegrown innovation, promoting cross-border trade, and forging strategic business partnerships.
Publisher of Ilorin-based Royal News, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona, has been accredited as Nigerian delegate for the 4th Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2025) to be hosted by Algeria from 4 to 10 September 2025.
The continental trade event, The DEFENDER gathered, will bring together thousands of business leaders, investors, government officials, and entrepreneurs from across Africa.
Organised under the framework of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), the trade fair is designed to boost intra-African trade, drive economic integration, and foster sustainable development.
The AfCFTA Marketplace—so named for its vision of a unified African market—is the largest free trade area in the world by number of participating countries, uniting 54 out of 55 African Union member states.

Dr. Arowona, the Royal News publisher, who recently received an official invitation to initiate visa procedures for the event, has been confirmed to participate in the event.
In a message sent by the IATF2025 Secretariat on 26 July, Arowona was advised to begin the visa application process at the nearest Algerian Embassy or Consulate to facilitate his travel.
As preparations intensify, IATF2025 is expected to be a major milestone in Africa’s journey towards a single market for goods and services, unlocking new economic opportunities and strengthening the continent’s global trade position.
Dr. Arowona is considerably doing well as a good ambassador representing Nigeria, the Ilorin Emirate and the Nigerian media business community well internationally.
