The ever unchanging former President Muhammadu Buhari
It is said that only change is constant as everything changes over time. It seems that former President Muhammadu Buhari’s personality (filled with sincerity, simplicity and service to God and humanity) is another constant thing!
Nigerian Governors elected under the platform of All Progressive Congress, APC visited the former President recently. Mallam Garba Shehu, his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Media and Publicity while in office reported the event. Quoting the former President, Mallam Shehu stated:

Me: Buhari is a living legend! If on the last day you made it to Heaven and you didn’t see Buhari there, na fake heaven dem carry you go!
I never finish. Garba Shehu also quoted him saying

Shebi una see am? Buhari chose to return to Daura after meritoriously serving Nigeria for eight years! Despite having a standard house in Kaduna, renovating it after not being regularly used for the eight years he served Nigeria was apparently a near impossible task for the former President. He jejely chose to enter him villa!
So if President Tinubu didn’t renovate his Kaduna home, who would have known, let alone believed that Buhari preferred to be in Kaduna but didn’t retire there because he couldn’t renovate the house?
He actually did the things that mattered. Despite being a devoted Muslim, he constructed a medical centre in Adoration Ministries Enugu. I can remember Fr. Mbaka being ungrateful when he questioned why the former President didn’t construct a state of the art structure to serve as the Ministry’s medical centre. He properly didn’t know that the little Buhari did for the People of God in Enugu was the much his earnings could do as he would NEVER deep his hands in public treasury to do that. Well, we have seen how he denied himself renovating his own house but constructed a standard medical centre for the People of God in Enugu who ARE NOT Muslims!
