Some of the complainants are saying Tinubu cannot really surprise them with the attitude where he does not see the wrong thing Wike is doing because, according to one of them, “you cannot expect a man who despite ceasing to be governor of Lagos State in 2007 has continued to control the political powers and resources of the state since leaving office in 2007 even against the will and interest of the indigenes, who constitutionally are owners of the state.”
It can be clearly stated that those Supreme Court-made lawmakers in the Rivers State House of Assembly are truly not out to let peace reign fir the state development.

This was the conclusion drawn by watchers of event as the lawmakers, despite Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s show of humility and tolerance that saw him transiting fresh letter to the Assembly officially proposing coming Wednesday to them as the day he will do what they, hinging on Supreme Court judgment, asked him to do to have fir the Bola Tinubu-led Federal Government to release the statutory allocations to the state.
This was coming as a video circulating on social media cited Olisa Agbakoba warning that there will be no Nigeria if politicians are allowed to continue to pocket the judiciary the way it is happening in the country.
Agbakoba was reviewing Supreme Court judgments in recent times as Nyesom Wike, whose struggle to be handed resources control of Rivers State where he has since ceased to be governor sparked the heated political crisis in the state and, surprisingly he continues to get favourable judgements from Federal courts up to the apex court to perpetrate such anti-democratic behaviours.
On Friday, the faction of Rivers State House of Assembly led by Martin Awaehule adjourned its plenary indefinitely following receipt of Governor Fubara’s letter to present the 2025 budget Wednesday, a day after Wike boasted that nothing would happen if Fubara is impeached thus sparking the anger of if Ijaw Youth Congress (IJC), which said such move will be fully resisted.
The decision for the indefinite adjournment was taken during a plenary session held at the Assembly quarters in Port Harcourt on Friday.
More Nigerians within and outside are now being infuriated seeing that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu keeps watching his Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, as he continues to disturb the peace of a state he no longer governs but is governed by his predecessor.
