…Distinguished leaders and members of the Nigerian Press who let the world know that the Leopard that was the Patriarch of our dynasty, who was seriously sick inside the Savannah Forest earlier on Friday January 3, 2025, had actually passed on in the early hours of Saturday January 4, 2025…
This is to profoundly appreciate all great and distinguished Nigerian leaders, who stood by us in The Adefaka Royal Family of Isolo, Akure South, Ondo State by way of electronic, interpersonal and written condolences sent in sympathising with us at this trying period of the loss of our beloved father, Alhaji (Prince) Kasumu Yesufu Adefaka of the defunct Trust Bank, Cooperative Bank, Ondo State Cooperative and Produce Marketing Union (OSCPMU), and first Chairman of the Akure Muslim Community.
We are particularly appreciative of the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, CFR, mni, who was the first eminent Nigerian to start praying for our father, since his health condition began to worsen less than 24 hours before his last breathe, and who became the first to send in his condolences to us, his family, upon his death in the early hours Saturday January 4, 2025.
We are also thankful to former Minister of Communications, Acting Military Governor of Old Ondo State and General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Tajudeen Olanrewaju (Rtd), Registrar/Chief Executive Officer of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Professor Is-haq Oloyede, CON, the entire members of De Renaissance Patriots Foundation, a socio-cultural organisation for Lagos State indigenes, including its President Mr. Muftah Bolaji Are, and Secretary General Yomi Tokosi, the Alara of Ilara Epe, Lagos State, His Royal Majesty Oba (Dr.) Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo, the Attah of Aiyede Kingdom Ekiti State, His Royal Majesty Oba Alhaji AbdulMumini Adebayo Orishagbemi, the Olubosinn of Ifetedo Kingdom, Osun State, His Royal Majesty Oba Akinola Oyetade Akinrera, Latiiri I, former Governorship Candidate LP of Lagos State 2023, Mr. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, Sarkin Fulani of Lagos His Highness Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Bambado II, former Governor of Oyo State His Royal Highness Alhaji Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, Emir of Argungu, His Royal Highness Alhaji Muhammadu Samaila Mera, all senior councilors, district heads, princes of Sokoto Caliphate and the Zazzau Emirate among many other Nigerians who sympathised with us.
We thank the Grand Chief Imam of Akure Kingdom, Ash-Sheikh (Dr.) AbdulHakeem Yayi Akorede, the Sariki Musulumi of Akure Land, Alhaji Kadiri Mustapha, the entire membe s of the royal families of our late father, both sides, namely: Sanni Ere of the Abibiri Ruling House Isolo and the Alademomi of the Ojijigogu Ruling House Akure, entire members of The Late Kola Animasaun Family Nigeria and in the Diaspora, Distinguished leaders and members of the Nigerian Press who let the world know that the Leopard that was the Patriarch of our dynasty, who was seriously sick inside the Savannah Forest earlier on Friday January 3, 2025, had actually passed on in the early hours of Saturday January 4, 2025, and all Alumni associations that came among very many others.
We say thank you all as we urge you to please continue to stand with us and be ready to still be with and around us when, in no distant time, we pick a date for the “DAY OF PRAYERS AND TRIBUTES” as final burial activity in celebration of life of our very important father.
