Osolo of Isolo inaugurates water project in town

The Osolo of Isolo in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State, Oba Edward Kolawole Adejoyegbe Adewole, Osalade II, has inaugurated a newly constructed water project in the Yoruba Land community, according to a statement from the Palace on Wednesday.

In the statement signed by Ayomide Michael, Special Assistant to the Osolo on Media and Administration, dated Wednesday December 18, 2024, the development was another sign of development coming to the Ondo State autonomous community since Oba Adewole came on the throne.

“The development of a community is the function of a progressive leadership and presence of peace and tranquility. This is the situation in Isolo kingdom witnessing unprecedented monumental development since inception of the reign of His Royal Majesty Oba Dr Edward Kolawole Adejoyegbe Adewole, Akesoogun Orisa obaluaye Mosu, Osalade II, Osolo of Isolo, Akure South local government Area of Ondo State.

“The entire residents of Seun Ogunkoya, Akinsulu, Ajayeoba, Dare Ajayi, Okoro, Plaza, Igbeyin adun and Temidire streets, Isolo Akure South are filled with joy and excitement as World Care International Ministry, USA donates a borehole project to the communities.

“Addressing the communities, the president of the ministry Chief Jide Animasaun who is being conferred the chieftaincy title of Balogun of Isolo and also decorated as the life patron of St Gabriel Foundation by His Royal Majesty Oba Dr Edward Kolawole Adejoyegbe Adewole Osalade II, Osolo of Isolo appreciates God almighty for the grace given to him to embark on the project which he says is not the first, he highlighted several projects he had donated to communities in different towns.

“Witnessing the project inauguration are representatives of Akure South Local government led by the vice chairmans, Mr Adebayo popularly known as Pace local government, Isolo council of chiefs, Isolo sons and daughters in diaspora.

“Speaking at the event, His Royal Majesty Oba Dr Edward Kolawole Adejoyegbe Adewole, Akesoogun orisa obaluaye Mosu, Osalade II, Osolo of Isolo Kingdom, Akure South on behalf of the benefiting and the entire people of Isolo appreciates the donor of the water project Chief Jide Animasaun the Balogun of Isolo Kingdom noting that the imperativeness of traveling abroad is replicating the experiences gathered at home for development.

“The monarch again charges all Isolo sons and daughters both at home and in diaspora to follow the pattern of Chief Jide Animasaun for the development of Isolo. He further stresses that development is the concern of everybody no matter how little.

“In addition, Oba Osalade II advises the benefiting communities especially residents of Seun Ogunkoya Street where the water project is sited to ensure proper maintenance of the project which will cause the project to last longer and encourage the donor to do more.

“The apogee of the event is the official inauguration of the borehole by His Royal Majesty Oba Dr Edward Kolawole Adejoyegbe Adewole, Akesoogun Orisa, obaluaye Mosu, Osalade II, Osolo of Isolo Kingdom by the grace of God and use of mankind.

“On behalf of the communities, Elder Aladegbaye one of the community stakeholders appreciates the God for the privilege and the donor for his kindgesture and makes an earnest appeal which is granted immediately for a generating set due to epileptic electricity supply so that the communities can enjoy the project.
