INDIA: Chinmaya Foundation holds 28th review meeting with centennial uninterrupted weekly Covid-19, Omicron awareness, relief distribution programme

India’s leading social welfare organization based in Babalpur in Jajpur District of Odisha State, The Chinmaya Foundation, has been fighting for an uninterrupted 700-day process to raise awareness among people around the world about the fear of pandemic coronas and Omicron.

In this regard, the Foundation’s Centennial Weekly Corona and Omicron Awareness with Relief Distribution Program (Day 694 to Day 700) has been launched through various coordinators in various districts of Odisha.

This was disclosed in a statement by the Office if the Chairman of the Foundation and copy of which was specifically made available to The DEFENDER, on Saturday 19 February, 2022.

Under the directive of the Founding Chairman of the Foundation, Mr.Chinmaya Dash, the Kalahandi District Coordinator, Mr. Kamal Chandi, led the awareness campaign through various cultural programs in various panchayats, crossroads and crowded places in the district.

Vaccination centers were also provided for Corona’s second vaccine.

Similarly, Jyotsna Mohanty in Balasore, Sitamani Das in Mayurbhanj and other district coordinators led the programme.

In Jajpur and Bhadrak districts, the programme was led by Chairman of the Foundation Mr. Chinmaya Dash, Awareness Programme Coordinator, Master Mihir Kumar, Mrs. Beenapani Das ,Mr. Ramesh Ch. Barik and others.

The Foundation reviews the programme every 25 days, with the 28th review meeting on the 700th day of the programme being held at the premises of the Dolphin Dance School and Group in Mangalpur, under the chairmanship of the Foundation’s chairman Mr. Chinmaya Dash.

Coordinator, Master Mihir Kumar conducted the review meeting, which was attended by Mrs. Beenapani Das, Ms. Barsha Rani Majhi, Social Worker Mr. Lakshmidhar Sahu, Mrs.Tilottama Dash and Nilima Mallick as reviewers.

Similarly, the second phase of the review meeting was held at New Mirzapur (BankaSahi) village under Rasulpur block of Jajpur district of Odisha state. Mr. Babuli Panda, Braja Kishore Sahu, Hemanta Sahu, Pranakrishna Sahu, Abhimanyu Sahu, Damodar Sahu, Shiva Pradhan Rana, Chandra Sahu, Prafulla Sahu, Basanta Sahu, Sarata Sahu, Ananda Pradhan, Vijaya Sahu, Dasaratha Sahu, Utsabananda Sahu, Chandan Sahu, Kritibasa Sahu and others are joined as a reviewer of the meeting & praised the foundation’s program and opined to continue it.
