In his new post on Facebook titled, “Femi Fani-Kayode has a Facebook page”, on Tuesday 3rd December 2019, Charles Kaye Okoye x-rays what has been generally believed to be the Igbo attitude of hate against other Nigerian tribes. What is more is his earlier conclusion that a Yoruba man in pastor-lawyer Fani-Kayode appears more like ground-breaker for this, that although with no single Yoruba follower or supporter in the act but members of the Igbo tribe. He then asks how therefore do Igbo get help from the evil of themselves, according to this unedited piece by him. Excerpts:
Surprisingly, or not so surprising, over 70% of of those that like and follow the page are Igbo. … not Yoruba!
Who will save Ndigbo from the evil machinations of Fani-Kayode?
Igbos are accused of hate! But the progenitor of the hate mongers and children of prediction in Igboland is not even Nnamdi Kanu; the progenitor is Femi Fani-Kayode.
How?
Before 2015 elections, only very few people knew about Kanu. Yes, he had been there, broadcasting on Radio Biafra, but very few people paid him any attention.
Even then, his attacks were not actually centred on PMB nor the Fulani. He tackled Nigeria, tackled Jonathan, and yes, he wasn’t as acerbic as he later became.
But at this point, Fani-Kayode had already started his evil work.
Remember he was in the APC until he was poached by Jonathan and the PDP. It was a subtle approach, a deft move indeed by the then ruling party.
And to justify his defection to PDP, Femi Fani-Kayode first claimed that there was plans by the APC to field a Muslin-Muslim ticket. We all knew it was impossible, but Fani-Kayode knew his target audience and they bought that lie wholesale. He went on to talk so.much about the composition of the party’s leadership and how all key positions were ceded to northern Muslims.
With the ground already prepared, he abandoned APC and gave the Christian world the impression that he left APC to fight against what was beginning to look like Islamization agenda. The Christian world became alert. And Ndigbo became the most alert being a tribe that is virtually all Christian.
Fani-Kayode planned a town hall meeting in Umuahia. I and some other Igbos thought he would be taught what fire does with the ear of the rat, following his rants against Ndigbo when Fashola deported some Igbo destitutes to Onitsha, and his subsequent rants about how he had variously “shined” our own dear prominent Igbo babes including our highly venerated Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu’s Apunanwu. I remembered how indignant the entire Igbo were following those irresponsible utterances. And I felt that Fani-Kayode would depart Umuahia with his tails inbetween his leg. But no! Our people rolled out the red carpet for a Christian crusader who had suddenly pledged his life to save our faith and save our tribe.
And in that meeting in Umuahia, Fani-Kayode told Ndigbo how many Igbo lives Buhari had wasted during the war. In that meeting, he revealed to Ndigbo that even in his private discussions with Buhari, that the sadist had told him that surely he would willingly and wantonly replecate the same holocaust he carried out with relish against Ndigbo. And my people listened with rapt attention, and righteous indignation.
Suddenly, whatever roles they had thought or claimed that Obasanjo and Gowon played in the Biafran war against ndigbo became insignificant in view of Fani-Kayode’s latest revelations
Strangely enough, I never remembered Fani-Kayode doing similar townhall meeting in the South-West; Fani-Kayode hardly regale the Yoruba with Buhari’s wickedness against them. Igbos are just the pawns in his hand.
Fani-Kayode is just evil!
Yoruba know Fani-Kayode, and will hardly offer any defence for him. But you dare not say anything bad about Fani-Kayode to the hearing of most Igbos. I use “most Igbos” consciously and confidently, because some may want to argue that it is only the gullible Ipob that Fani-Kayode enthralls, but that is far from the truth. Majority of Igbos love and admire him, and will rise in his defence if anyone touches him today. Many Igbos who are not Ipob still think and believe that Fani-Kayode is the only defender they have, and they have never stopped calling out their own political leaders as cowards and stooges to the Caliphate, while hailing Fani-Kayode as courageous, fearless and the voice of the voiceless.
Who will save Ndigbo from this strange hero?
Below is his recent handiwork, and as he expected it has also welled up the angst and hate of ndigbo for PMB, his tribe and his party.
“In the latest round of promotions to the position of Police Commisioner the core north, which comprises of the North West and the North East, have 20 new Police Commisioners between them.
This is more than ALL the other 4 zones of South West, South South, South East and North Central PUT TOGETHER.
Meanwhile the South East has just 1 new Police Commisioner. SAD!”
And he got us wailing again, and cursing Lord Lugard and his girlfriend for dumping us into the zoo!
Need I say that Fani-Kayode has latched unto the sad incident in Oraifitte between Ipob and security, and has been dancing Azonto?
It is only a fool that wouldn’t know that Femi Fani-Kayode goes to bed in the night, praying to wake up in the morning to news of killings and calamities in the South-east in order to fan the embers of his hate, and to destabilize this nation. And if burning the south-east, and undoing ndigbo can achieve him this evil desire…..WHY NOT!
